Zona Mae Perkins was born February 26, 1937 to the parents of Emmitt Perkins and Frances Bedford.

To all her family and friends, Zona Mae Perkins was raised in Starkville, MS.  She moved to Drew, MS and resided there.  Zona Mae Perkins was a member of Holly Grove Church.  She loved going to church every Sunday and helping others.  She had a big heart and loved all her grandkids and would give you the shirt off her back.

Zona Mae Perkins met her companion and created seven beautiful kids, one who she has joined.  But I have to say she also had one extra granddaughter ("Pooh") that was her pride and joy.  That was Zona Mae's daughter, she would act like a kid if you wouldn't give her a honeybun.  My mom didn't care about nothing but honeybuns, and "Pooh" and "Neke".  She would beat the wall util she had her way.

She departed her life on March 8, 2016 to be with the Lord.  Zona Mae Perkins worked so hard, she always provided for all her kids.  She taught her kids to be very clean and don't leave no dirty dishes in the sink.
