Yolanda Shontelle Williams-Bennett was born November 21, 1971 to Bessie and Terry Williams, Sr.  Yolanda grew up in Greenville, MS and accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Clifton King III.

She attended and graduated from Greenville High School in 1989.  Yolanda loved family gatherings, class gatherings, and talking on the phone.

Yolanda departed this life on Monday, October 3, 2022 in Greenville, MS.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her brother Terry Williams, Jr. and her grandson Jaiden Bennett.

Yolanda is survived by her parents Bessie and Terry Williams, Sr., (3) sons, Thadius Bennett, Jr., Jarien Bennett, Melvin Kitchen, Jr.; (2) daughters, Jada Bennett and Jessiah Bennett all of Greenville, MS; (2) brothers, Frederick (Anqruetta) Jackson of Greenville, MS and Roderick (Cynthia) Williams of McKinney, TX; (3) sisters, Tracey, Nakeeta and Kiana Williams of Greenville, MS; (7) grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and special friends whom she showed kindness and an abundance of love.
