Obituary

Willie Lee Austin (Mrs. Red) Walker was born January 22, 1944 to the late Vent and Margaret Watson in Leland, MS. She attended Leland Public Schools and Mississippi Delta Jr. College. Willie Lee (Mrs. Red) accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mount Hebron M.B. Church. Willie Lee was united in holy matrimony to the late Walter Walker Sr. in 1963. Willie Lee was employed at the Leland Compress for many years before she came to work for the Greenville Public School District as a bus driver. She loved praising the Lord and enjoyed being a member of the Greenville Aires Gospel Group. Willie Lee (Mrs. Red) was packing her earthly possessions to move to Texas to be near her sons. On April, while sleeping, God called her home.
