Willie Ruth Hardrict was born to the late Benjamin Hardrict, Sr. and May Earl Hardrict on July 5, 1950 in Cleveland, MS.  She began her growth in Christ at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.

She graduated from Eastside High School with the class of 1971.  She was employed at Bolivar Medical Center until she retired.

On Friday, February 28, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN, she ended this life's journey of pain and sorrow.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Derrick Hardrict of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Sharon Blair of Cleveland, MS, and Rowena Hardrict of Jackson, TN., three grandsons, Jerome Hickman, Jr., Jermaine Hickman and Jacob Hickman.  Two granddaughters, Jasmine Blair and Rowena L. Hardrict, two sisters, Georgia Terry and Lillie Jackson; seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister Rosie Hollingsworth, brothers, Benjamin Hardrict Jr., Freddie Hardrict and Milton Hardrict, and one grandson, Kelvron Hardrict.
