Virdell Miller was born on March 23, 1954 to the late James Miller Sr. and Lovell Issac-Miller in Holmes County. She was proceeded in death by her brothers, James Miller Jr., Johnny Miller and Marshall Miller, and one sister Dora Mae Thurmond.
Virdell confessed her hope in Christ as she was a member of New Bethany Assembly for Christ under the leadership of Sister Ruthie Dotson. She also loved attending Guiding Light COGIC when she was not able to attend her church.
Virdell was a very quiet and shy person, but she was no one to play with. Her memories will be cherished by her children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Virdell leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Calvin Miller of Itta Bena, MS, daughter, Tanya Smith (Ontario) of Ruleville, MS, son, Royal Miller of Tchula, MS, daughter, Shunda Harris (Carlos) of Tchula, MS and Louis Miller (Laquita) of Memphis, TN; five sisters, Alberta Kemp of Chicago, IL, Barbara Miller of Tchula, MS, Ethel Miller of Tchula, MS, Beatrice Saffold (Henry) of Tchula, MS, and Idella Williams of Lexington, MS; L.D. Miller of Lexington, MS and Bobby Miller of Jackson, MS; one aunt, Jessie Jones of Cordova, TN and one uncle, Roosevelt Isaac of Detroit, MI; 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
