A Time to Be Born:

Vetter Lynn "Lil Sis" Hampton Edward was born June 21, 1959 to A.C. and Daisy Hamilton in Sunflower County, Mississippi.  She was affectionately known as "Lil Sis" to her family and friends.

A Time to Plant:

Vetter attended school in the Ruleville and Cleveland School Districts.  Lil Sis accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at a young age under the leadership of Rev. Willie Williams at the Morning Star Church.  She later joined the New Kingdom M.B. Church in Cleveland, MS under the leadership of Rev. Randolph Seals, Sr.   Vetter met her beloved Frank in 1974(m.2013) and to their union five children were born.  Vetter was a loving wife and mother and worked for Gaines Oil(Wild Bills) for a period.

A Time to Die:

The final chapter of Lil Sis's earthly life ended at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS on January 19, 2022.  She is preceded in death by two children, Anthony and Natasha Hampton, her parents, A.C. & Daisy Hampton, three brothers, David, Lawyer and Roy Hampton, two sisters, Mary Jones and Rosie Hamilton.

A Time to Mourn:

Lis Sis leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Frank, two sons, Cedrick(Lashonda) Hampton and Frank Mario of Boyle, MS, one daughter, LeKilisha (Roderick) Silas of Memphis, TN, four brothers, Willie London of Detroit, MI, J.B. (Jacquelyn) Hampton of Boyle, MS, Hugh Hampton of Cleveland, MS and Randy Hampton of Chicago, IL; two sister, Helen (Joe) Tyler, and Lady Faye Hampton all of Boyle, MS, four step children, Lashonda Jackson of Cleveland, MS, Kanesha Jackson of Memphis, TN, and Michael and Teresa Veal of St. Louis, MO, 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
