Troy, born to Milton and Lilian Johnson on April 15, 1965 in Cleveland, Mississippi.  She confessed her faith in Christ early and was baptized at Rose Hill M.B. Church in Renova, Mississippi.  Troy was educated in the Cleveland School District, a graduate of East Side High School Class of 1983.  She furthered her education at Coahoma Community College where she received her AA Degree and at Mississippi Valley State where she received her BA Degree both in Early Childhood Education.  She worked with the Bolivar County Headstart in Cleveland, MS as a teacher for 34 years where she retired in 2016.

On March 12, 1998 she married Willie D. Eatmon, Jr.  They established their home in Cleveland, MS.

Troy was a loving and caring person, she loved teaching, singing and listening to gospel music but mostly she loved caring for babies, toddlers and going to church.  She was a faithful member of the Church in Me under the leadership of Pastor Marvin Strotter until her health begin to fail.

Troy was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Lilian Johnson, four (4) brothers, Willie, Donnell, Charles and Deric Brown; one (1) sister, Sandra "Kaye Kaye" Johnson.

Troy leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 28 years, Willie D. Eatmon, Jr.; two (2) sons, Kendrick(Ashley) Johnson of Indianola, MS and Ladarlious Johnson of Cleveland, MS, one (1) daughter, Shasika Eatmon of Starkville, MS; one (1) brother, Jackie (Tomethel) Johnson; three (3) sisters, Barbara (Eddie) Harris of Austin, TX, Sherron (Donald) Davenport of Memphis, TN and Brenda Brown of Cleveland, MS; eight (8) grandchildren and two(2) great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
