Her Birth
Trainnie Ann Rushing was born on September 4, 1961 to the late Mary Davis and Samuel Rushing. Trainnie was united in holy matrimony to Lionel James on May 16, 2005, where two earthly families were extended.
Her Earthly Purpose
Trainnie graduated from the Mighty East Side High School Class of 1981 in Cleveland, MS. She was an outgoing, talkative person who loves to visit and who loved to watch television. Her famous words after each visit was " I Love You."
Her Faith
Trainnie began her spiritual walk and accepted Christ. She was baptized on September 4, 2008 at the Lampton Street Church of Christ under the leadership of Dr. Harvey M. Jackson, where she was a faithful member until death.
Her Ascension
Trainnie was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Mary Rushing, three brothers, Albert Lee Rushing, Samuel Rushing Jr. and Joe Ira Davis; three sisters, Brenda Davis, Christine Davis and Pearline White. On Friday, March 11, 2022, Trainnie yielded her spirit unto God and entered into a place of rest.
Her Heritage
Trainnie leaves to cherish her sweet memories, a loving and devoted husband, Lionel James and her son Everett Rushing of Cleveland, MS, one step-son, Lionel (Deleah) James, Jr. of Round Lake, IL and two stepdaughters, Danielle Luckett of Cleveland, MS and Cildred James of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Eloise Rushing-Sias and Mary Lee Rushing both of Cleveland, MS; two brothers, Talmadge (Evonne) Davis, Jr. of Cleveland, MS, and Keith Davis of Cleveland, MS; two sisters-in-law, Emma Williams of Springfield, IL and Maggie Sue James of Atlanta, GA; two brothers-in-laws, Rundell (Diane) James of Renova, MS and Wendell James of Cleveland, MS. A special God-daughter, LaJoycelynn (Boo) Crudup; two special lifelong friends, Charlene Bell and Gloria James. She also leaves a host of relatives, friends, and church family.
