Tommy was the last son born to the late Roberta Cannon & John Butler on May 25, 1942 in Starkville, Mississippi.  He departed his life to begin a new one on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville, Mississippi.

Tommy shared his life by working as a farmer for Holman's Farm; Retired from Cleveland Rice Mill, and his final days were shard with the Jones' Laundry Mats in Sunflower County.

Tommy accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Holmes Chapel Baptist Church.

On January 09, 1961 he married the beloved Hattie Mae, in which five lovely children was born.
