Terry Williams Sr. was born on October 21, 1942 to the late Thelma Bradford Henderson in Washington County.
He confessed his hope in Christ at a tender age. He accepted his call into ministry, during his tenure at Greater St. John M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Reginald D. Forte, where he also served as a deacon for many years. He later united and became a member of the Star Bethel M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Melvin Motton, Sr.
Terry attended Breisch High School in Leland, Mississippi. Terry was a well known carpenter and he was gifted with his hands.
Terry was joined in Holy Matrimony to Bessie Davis on March 25, 1966.
Terry was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Henderson and Elijah Staples, one son, Terry Williams, Jr. and one daughter, Yolanda Bennett.
Terry departed this life on Sunday, May 31, 2026 surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving and devoted wife, Bessie Williams, (2) sons; Fredrick Jackson and Roderick(Cynthia) Williams, (3) daughters; Tracey Williams, Nakeeta Williams and Kiana Williams, (2) sons he loved as his own, Jermaine Mason and John Shavers, (4) sisters; Autry Ann Henderson, Margaret (Richard) Terrell, Georgia Stewart and Paula (Tommie) Caldwell, (1) brother, Leon (Laquita) Caldwell, (9) sister-in-laws, (1) brother-in-law, (13) grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. A special family friend, Kenneth L. Gines.
