Terri Denise Robertson, 60 of Greenville was born on November 14, 1962 in Greenville, MS to the late Cornelia Jones Robertson and Bobby Robertson.
Terri attended elementary and high school in Greenville, along with several training schools. In 1981, Terri married Leroy Berry and together they had a daughter, Melissa Kay Berry of Houston, TX.
All those who knew Terri, realized quickly that she loved reading her bible and talking about Salvation. She loved listening to music. Terri liked good food and sharing with the people around her. As a youth, she loved traveling. She loved people and she wanted them to show her love.
Terri confessed a belief in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age under the leadership of Reverend G.W. Hollins at Pleasant Green Baptist Church. She later joined Saint John with her mother. At the time of her passing, Terri was a member of Friendship M.B. Church, pastored by Reverend Frank Hall.
Terri was preceded in death by her grandparents, Josephine Hollins(Jones) and Johnny Jones of Vicksburg; her parents, Cornelia Jones Robertson and Bobby Robertson; her brother, Charlie L. Scott(Mae Ruth) and her favorite cousin, Sophie Hollins Owens of Boston, MA.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Kay Berry of Dickinson, TX; her sister, Barbara Robertson of Jackson; her nieces, Stephanie Scott-Holcomb and son Scotty (Patrick) Dickinson, TX; Staci Scott, Houston, TX; Catherine Peterson, Dickinson, TX; nephew, Benjamin David Hill, III (Lea) and their children, Joshua, Joseph, Solomon, all of Jacksonville, FL, Daughters, Nia of San Diego, CA and Tyliyah of Jackson; cousins, Dr. David Hollins (Rhonda) Houston, TX, Fate Ferrell (Rebecca) Bogalusa, LA; Wilbert Collier, Atlanta, GA, Zadine Brookshire, Chicago, IL as well as a host of relatives in New York, Boston and other areas.
