T.C. Martin was born February 14, 1944 to the late Soloman and Louise Martin in Schlater, MS.
T.C. accepted Christ at an early age, at New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Minter City, MS.
He attended T.Y. Fleming School in Minter City, MS. T.C. Martin will be missed for his sense of humor and his concerns for others. He touched many lives of the people that crossed his path. He worked various jobs which included: Coke of Cola Company, the Greenville Oil Mill, Goodyear, and before his health failed he was employed with J and M Transportation.
T.C. is proceeded in death by his parents; Soloman and Louise Martin, daughter; Louise Martin Harris, two brothers; R.C. Martin and Clarence Martin, two grandsons; Kendrick Martin and LaMarcus Martin.
T.C. leaves behind a loving wife of 61 years; Shirley Rose Martin, seven daughters; Felita (Derrick) Jackson, Valerie (Donnie) Douglas, Margaret Martin, Latonya (Cedric) Lewis, and Tameka Martin all of Greenville, MS, Rosa Lawrence and Arrevion Spears both of Freemont, Ohio, three sons; Tommie (Janice) Martin, Jammie (Melody) Martin of Greenville, MS and Byron (Porsha) Martin of Cordova, TN, a special grand daughter, Tamesha Martin, one brother; Howard Host of Memphis, TN, two sisters, Mable (Charles) Shipp and Girty Balentine both of Detroit, MI, one brother in law, Clinton Beckem of Drew, MS and one sister in law; Zolena Russell of Chicago, IL, 24 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren and friends. T.C. will be missed from the multiple names people knew him by, Mr. Bro, Top Cat and his favorite saying "Doing Things Today!!
