1st Lady Tarshona Jones was born on November 3, 1969 to the late Mr. Mack King and Mrs. Rosie King-McDavis.  At a young age, Tarshona accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined Power House Deliverance Templein Indianola, Mississippi, under the leadership of the late Apostle Terry W. Roberson where she remained a faithful member until her demise.  She attended Greenville High School in Greenville, Mississippi and she graduated from Grantham University with a BBA Degree.

Tarshona's love for her family and friends was evident to all who knew her.  She was a genuinely selfless, caring and giving person who always showed compassion to those around her and to those who were in need.  She was a devoted loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.  She dedicated much of her time to rearing her children and grandchildren, and she devoted her life to serving Christ.

Tarshona was preceded in death by three (3) brothers, Janet McDavis, Reginald Roberson and Terry Roberson.

Tarshona leaves to cherish her memories, her Loving and Devoted husband, Pastor Charles Jones, Jr.; (4) devoted sons, Marcus D. Roberson of Greenville, Mississippi, Terry B. Roberson and Quann (Tashanika) Redmond of Frisco, Texas, Reginald D. Roberson of Southaven, Mississippi; one (1) loving daughter, Vancherrika S. Mitchell; eight (8) sisters, Emma (Peter) Edwards, Patricia (George) Sherdon, Gaye McDavis, Gail McDavis, Sandra Norman, Donna Roberson, Tammy Roberson all of Greenville, Mississippi and Sharon Roberson of Houston, Texas; one (1) brother, Nathaneal (Jackie) McDavis of Greenville, Mississippi; her Mother-In-Law, Ethel (Coleman) Washington of Ruleville, Mississippi; her Father-In-Law, Charles (Linda) Jones, Sr. of Ruleville, Mississippi; three (3) sisters-in-laws, Shirley Simmons of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Aniyah Jones of Ruleville, Mississippi and Bridgett Floyd of Memphis, Tennessee; three (3) Brothers-In-Law, Fred (Tyesha) Jones of Greenville, Mississippi, Anthony Townsend and Jimmie Townsend of Ruleville, Mississippi and a host of close friends, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many other loving family members.
