Takiyah Shani Moore, 32, of Renova, MS passed away September 8, 2017 in Jackson, MS.  Takiyah was born in Merrillville, IN to Bill and Toye(Washington) Moore on June 14, 1985.  She attended West Side High School where she exceled in track and field.

As a young teen Takiyah confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and served the Lord in dance at Advancing Christ Kingdom Ministries in Gary, IN.  She was beautiful, bright, energetic, talented, and an undiscovered comedienne who enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom raising her children, spending time with family and friends, and making people happy.
