Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend was born on July 4, 1926 to the union of Fred and Annie Rice in Columbus, Mississippi. She went to eternal rest on Saturday, July 21, 2012 to join her dearly departed husband, Thomas H. Moore. She concessed a hope in Christ at an early age, and remained active in church throughout her life. She was a member of the Mother's Board as well as a long-time member of the Board of Trustees of Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church of Shelby, Mississippi. After graduating from Mound Bayou Public Schools, Seanella attended nursing school in Wisconsin. Afer returning to Mound Bayou, she worked with Tuft Delta Health Center as a Field Home Aid and a certified EKG Technician until her retirement. "Dear's" retirement years were spent traveling, enjoying her grandchildren, as well as, mentoring the youth in her beloved Mound Bayou. Although often soft spoken, her love of God was clear through her selflessness and generosity. She was active in local politics and could not be stopped from attending regular city council meetings until declining health confined her to home. Her commitment to helping anyone in need is legendary. Those who knew her fittingly called her "Dear."
