Sarah Ella Walker, lovingly known as (Ella) was born to the late Walter and Minerva Hickman entered this world on July 29, 1923, in Louisville, Mississippi. She was the eldest of nine children of which three siblings preceded her in death. Sarah migrated to Chicago, IL and became one of the founding member of Fellowship Revival Center Full Gospel Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Bobby Joe Williams. As a devout Christian woman and through her involvement with the International Order of Eastern Stars, Sarah would willingly help anyone and tirelessly worked for improvement within the community. After searching for a spiritually, she became a member of Mount Olive Church of Cleveland, Mississippi under the guidance of Reverend Bobby L. Williams. Sarah prided herself in being someone that her siblings could look to for leadership and advise. Sarah was extremely family oriented and shared her wisdom with all her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and anyone the Lord led her to. She had the ability to keep them in stitches while not "sparing the rod." Ella was grounded, rooted and sealed in her Lord and Savior this knowledge led her to know that this was merely a temporary earthly assignment. The final chapter is now complete. When God called Sarah Ella, she answered on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond, Indiana. While her final chapter is complete, a new chapter has begun in Heaven.
