Mrs. Ruthie L. Britton of Shelby, MS daughter of the late Alex and Maggie Bates, departed her earthly home Monday, August 4, 2014 at Shelby Nursing & Rehab. At an early age she became a member of the St. James Missionary Baptist Church of Shelby, MS. For over 30 years she was employed at Marshall's Cleaner in Shelby, MS until the facility closed years ago.
