Ruby was born on March 15, 1960, to the late Ollie V. Scott, who proceeded her in death and J.C. Bramlett of St. Louis, MO.

She confessed to Christ at an early age and kept the faith until God decided to call her home, January 9, 2026 at 6:18 a.m. and told her no more suffering.

Ruby was a great babysitter to all family and friends; she even gave nicknames to all the children that she kept.

Although, she is gone, her life goes on. She leaves to cherish her memories: a son, Eddie James Dixon and a daughter, LaTasha Evette Dixon, both of Cleveland, MS; three grandsons: Morris Leon Jones, Jr. of Arlington, TX, Ja'Morrius Ja'Vontae Jones of Memphis, TN and Ja'Von Ty'Quez Hodges of Drew, MS; two granddaughters: Ta"Morrius Te'Aunte Jones of Arlington, TX and Kabiryah Dostry of Blythsville, AK; two great granchildren: Ta'Nylah Anyah Jones and Jalen; one aunt: Linda Vance of Drew, MS; a host of family and friends; a special friend throughout the years Horace Robinson.
