Roy Lee Edwards (Pie) was born April 27, 1948 in Rosedale, MS to the late Mr. Eddie Edwards Sr. and Minnie Edwards.  He confessed Christ at an early age.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, a sister, Sarah Mae Johnson, and four brothers:  Jack, Amber, LA and Eddie Edwards, Jr.

After battling cancer, he departed his life and went to his heavenly home at the Delta Health & Rehab on April 08, 2020.  He enjoyed going to church, watching tv and spending time with close family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories three daughters:  Sharon Moore of Shelby, MS, Carolyn Wilson, and Betty Jean Williams of Memphis, TN; one son, Sean Edwards of Boston, MS; four sisters, Jewell Sanders of Rosedale, MS, Pearl Thomas of Boston, MS, Mary Norris of Winstonville, MS, Brenda Ruff of Hayti, MO; two brothers, John "Kool" Edwards of Chicago, IL and Freddie Edwards of St. Louis, MO; 16 grandchildren and a host of great grands, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
