Mrs. Rosie Mae Sterling Womack was born to the late Mrs. Sylvia Henderson Sterling and Bennie Sterling on January 19, 1919 in Pocahontas, MS. She accepted Christ as her personal savior in Flora, Mississippi, and was later joined in Holy Matrimony to Alfonzo Womack in Greenwood, Mississippi.
