Rosie Hollingsworth was born December 14, 1937 to the late Benjamin and May Earl Hardrict in Pace, MS. She was the oldest of seven children.
She was married to the love of her life, Theodore Roosevelt Hollingsworth for 62 years and fifteen children were born to this union.
She accepted Christ at an early age at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS (Brickyard). She later joined the United Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Sammie Rash. Mrs. Hollingsworth was a very dedicated, devoted and loyal member. She served faithfully and truehearted with the usher ministry for 51 years.
The Love: "And the greatest of these is love" I Corinthians 13:13
She loved her family, United Baptist Church, flowers and her gospel music. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Benjamin and May Earl Hardrict, her husband, Theodore Hollingsworth, one daughter, Marilyn Johnson, one son, Freddie Hollingsworth, three brothers, Benjamin Hardrict Jr., Freddie Earl Hardrict and Milton Hardrict, one sister, Danzolla Hardrict, all of whom she loved dearly.
The Legacy: "For Though I be absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the Spirit..." Colossians 2:5
Mrs. Hollingsworth leaves to cherish her precious memories thirteen children: Evonne (Talmadge) Davis, James Hollingsworth, Mary Earl Hollingsworth, Deloris (J.W.) Foster, Bettye Hollingsworth, Bobby Hollingsworth, Alice(Daryl) Honorable, Gladys (George) Bell, Charles Hollingsworth, Lonnie Dell Hollingsworth, LeraDell Hollingsworth, Janice(Joe) Johnson, Janet Hollingsworth; three sisters; Lillian jackson, Ruth Hardrict, Georgia Terry, one brother in law, Frank (Annie) Hollingsworth and sisters-in -law, Gloria Dawson, a god daughter, Ann Mayhall Richardson and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
