Rodrick Dewan Stanford was born September 13, 1984 to Roy and Jacqueline Stanford. He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age at William Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Oddis Keaton.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Lorraine and Rafe Edwards, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Claiborne Harris.

Rodrick was a graduate of Ruleville Central High School Class of 2003. Rodrick attended Mississippi Valley State University and also became one of the best music producers and rap artists in the Mississippi Delta. After working with his dad in the food chain, he considered himself to be self- proclaimed culinary artist following his dad's footsteps.

Rodrick was called to glory to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Although we will miss him dearly, we know God knows best. Jesus said, "I go and prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:2-3). God sent his angels to receive Rodrick.

He leaves to cherish his precious and loving memories, his devoted parents: Roy and Jacqueline Stanford, his two sons: Christian Carter and Sire Surney, his siblings: Brian Coleman of Drew, MS; Youmika (Johnny) Williams of Cleveland, MS; Roy (Jennifer) Stanford, Jr., of Brandon, MS; Makayla Stanford of Ruleville, MS; and Sharonda Edwards of San Diego, CA; his paternal grandmother,  Linnie B. Lacey of Drew, MS, his god-daughter, Da'Zya Surney of Drew, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
