Rhuebirda Williams was born on October 19, 1958 to Wash and Theresa Williams.  She was the 8th of 10 siblings.

Rhuebirda grew up in the Dry Bayou Community with her parents and siblings.  Rhuebirda graduated from Rosedale High School in 1977.  She furthered her Education at Delta State University in Cleveland, MS by completing most of the requirements for a Library Science degree.  Rhuebirda worked in the medical field as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Buckner Parkway Place in Houston, TX.

Rhuebirda became ill in 2014 and returned to Rosedale, MS in 2016.  After a lengthy illness, she passed at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN with her family and Significant Companion at her side.

Rhuebirda was preceded in death by her father Wash Williams, Mother Theresa Williams and three siblings, Roy Williams, Bobby Fortney & Oscar Williams.  Rhuebirda leaves behind (4) brothers, Sanders(Josie) Williams, Sr., (Cleveland, MS), Alfred(Georgia) Williams, (Rosedale, MS), Herbert(Florence) Williams, Sr., Memphis, TN, Calvin (Gloria) Williams, ( Norlina, NC), Two (2) sisters, Helen Williams(Rosedale, MS), Theresa (Joe) Banks (Belleville, MD).

Rhuebirda also leaves behind a Significant Companion, Jonas Griffin (Cleveland, MS), Ex-husbands, Wesley McCoy of Pennsylvania & James Drummer of Houston, TX., One Aunt Deliah Williams, (St. Louis, MI) nieces, nephews, cousins and a Special Friend Theresa Gillum of Houston, TX.
