On October 8, 1962, Ray Charles Perkins was welcome by his parents, the late Roosevelt Beck and Zonia Mae Perkins. Ray accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Holly Grove in Drew, MS. Ray graduated from Drew High School. Ray was an exterior and interior worker. He loved working on roofs. He also loved to dance and crack jokes. Ray was a good person full of Life and full of love. He will truly be missed.

Ray made his transition on May 26, 2021. Ray leaves to cherish his memories: his siblings: Four (4) sisters: Lisa Perkins, Ruth Ann Perkins (Anthony) both of Michigan, Faye Perkins and Veronica Perkins. One (1) brother; Terry Perkins of Drew, MS; two (2) aunts: Ella Mae of Drew, MS and Mary Fields of Detroit, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ray was preceded in death by his brother: Dennis Perkins, mother: Zonia Perkins and father Roosevelt Beck.
