Patricia P. "Sheyah" Phillips Arrington was born in Shaw, MS on July 23, 1957.  Mrs. Arrington was the daughter of the late Samuel Wright Sr. and the late Curley B. Phillips Curry.  Patricia accepted Christ at an early age at St. Mark Baptist Church in Chickasaw, Mississippi.

During her early years she worked at Delta Cleaners.  Culkin Elementary (Vicksburg, MS), Delta Pride (Indianola, MS) and Prime Source (Shaw, MS).

Patricia moved to Vicksburg, MS at the young age of 17.  In 1984, she decided to move back to Shaw, MS after the death of her parents to help take care of her younger siblings.  She remained in Shaw until 1999 and then moved back to Vicksburg where she resided until her untimely transition.

On the morning of March 11, 2019, Patricia passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends.  She was 61 years old.

She was a very strong honorable woman, who fought with dignity.  She loved taking care of and helping her family out.  Most of all she was a loving devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend.  She welcomed everyone she met.

She was predeceased in death by her husband Jody D. Arrington; her parents, Ruby and Curley B. Curry, her biological father Samuel Wright Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Cedric L. Phillip Sr.; a daughter, Joette N. Phillips (Patrick); a son by marriage, Shedrick Ingram(Shelly) and 12 grandchildren; 13 brothers and 7 sisters.
