Mr. Otis Cole Sr., son of the late Thomas and Vircy Cole in Sunflower, MS was born on September 23,1951 in Blaine, MS. He was the 9th child born to this union of twelve. Otis confessed in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Allen Buckner at Jake Chapel M.B. Church.

Otis Cole attended Blaine Elementary as well as Manpower to further his education at MDCC. He worked at Mac Bodyshop in Indianola, MS from 1970-1975. Nolden and Cole Bodyshop in Sunflower, MS 1975-1978. Indianola Motor Company 1978-1992. Cole's Brother's Bodyshop in Indianola, MS 1992-1995. Lee Repair Shop in Shaw, MS 1995-2003. Maintenance and Mechanic work at MDCC 2003-2013. He returned December 31, 2013 at the age of 62 years old.

He moved from Fishackerly Farm in 1967 and moved to Sunflower in 1967. He moved to Indianola in 1987 from Sunflower, MS. Otis was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Anna H. Cole on September 30, 2013. To this union one child was born by the name of Otis Cole, Jr. Also he was a stepfather to two children by the names of Andrew (Pamela) Howard of GA and Patricia Harris of Indianola.

Mr. Cole is preceded in death by his brothers W.L. Cole, Willie L. Cole, and sisters, Athena Cole, Mildred Cole, And Crey McCraney. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: Otis Cole, Jr. (Sherry Brown), Otis Cole III and Grayson Cole. Andrew (Pamela) Howard, Andrew Z. Howard and Zoe Howard. Patricia Harris and Ayanna Harris.
