Mr. Obzie Isaiah William was born on October 11, 1957, to the late Willie Harris William and Otis William in Itta Bena, Mississippi. He grew up in Sunflower, Mississippi, where he attended elementary school. He furthered his education by attending Ruleville Central High School in Ruleville, Mississippi. Isaiah was a hardworking man and truly believed in taking care of his pride and joy, his family. He has labored at many jobs and each one, he worked for over 10 years. Isaiah was an employee at Louis Grocery and Martin Line Products, both of Indianola, Mississippi. He was also the Manager of Curtis Mathis Store and there are so many more under his belt.
In 2015, he met the love of his life in which he remained with until his death Mary Williams. Isaiah loved her until death, (he called her Bae) and treated her children and grandchildren as his own.
As for his faith he truly believed in God and often talked about his goodness.
Proceeding him in death were his parents Otis and Willie Harris William and his older brother Bill Parliman.
He leaves to cherish his memories, the love of his life Mary Welth, four sons Patrick (Marie) William, Kelvin Phillips, and Adrian William of Indianola, MS, and Isaiah (Billie J) Ross of Dallas, TX; three daughters Valerie (Derrick Williams) Jackson and Tiffany Ross of Indianola, MS, and Cherry Smith of West Virgina. He also leaves two stepchildren whom he loved dearly, Floyd Williams of Cleveland, MS and Edneatha (Avery) Payne of Memphis, TN; three sisters, Susie (Freddie Harris) Edwards of Sunflower, MS, Artis Mae Brothers and Josephine Thomas of Greenville, MS; one brother, Manual (Betsy) Williams of Chicago, IL; twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
