Nashon Jenkins was born 10/12/1983 to Revell Jenkins & Josephine Jenkins (preceded in death 6/23/2012) in Milwaukee, WI. Nashon was 1 of 11 children Revell Kimber (Tunica, MS), Lakesha Jenkins (San Antonio, TX), Syretta Jenkins (Memphis,TN), Shammah Jenkins (San Antonio, TX), Siloam Jenkins (Shelby, MS), Tekoa Jenkins (Oxford, MS), Syntyche Jenkins (Drew, MS), Thypence (Houston, TX), Keturah Jenkins (Houston, TX) & Sherah Jenkins (Memphis, TN).
Nashon Jenkins met his wife Amber Gulley-Jenkins in Shelby, MS 17 years ago & together they had 4 children: Danielle Gulley, Nashon Jenkins Jr., Jaylen Jenkins & .Nashon Jenkins Jr. Also Sons Brian Coleman & Amiri Daniels
Nashon graduated from Broad Street High school in Shelby, MS in 2002 before serving in the U.S. Army from he retired with at least 1 tour in combat during the Iraq War. Upon his honorable discharge Nashon received formal education at Universal Technical Institute earning his Associates Degree as a Diesel Mechanic.
Nashon was best known for his good looks, sarcastic & wry sense of humor, quick wit as well as his cunning & rambunctious nature. While part of a huge family, Nashon had a personality that allowed him to stand out amongst the crowd. From an early age Nashon exhibited an aptitude for mechanical things & was easily able to take things apart & put them back together with no difficulty.
Nashon's journey in life was filled with love & laughter. He was a star who burned so brightly that he burned out much too soon. He will be remembered fondly by all who had the opportunity to be in his presence. His legacy continues in his children & family that keep his memory burning in their hearts.
