Myrtis Love was born July 5, 1938 in Beulah, MS to the late Oscar and Mary Bell Thomas-Love.

Myrtis was a loving and caring father. He was well respected in the community. he was a very hard worker and made sure that his family was taken care of. Myrtis worked at Ethan Porter for over 50 years. Myrtis is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Mary Love, his wonderful wonderful wife Ethel Dixon Love, (1) daughter Linda Holloway, (1) son Billy Joe Russell.

On May 31, 2020 at Claiborne County in Port Gibson Mississippi, Myrtis went home to be with the Lord. His memories will forever be in the heart of his children: (10) sons: Charles Lewis, Carl (Gwen) Lewis, Marvin( Betty) Foster, Larry( Evette) Lessie, Oscar ( Tamara) Foster, Terrance Hendrick, Tony Foster, Marvin "Dale" Wilson, Gary Wilson and Brian Steele, Jr. (8) daughters: Gloria ( Ronnie) Foster, Mamie ( Steven) Toliver, Marilyn Lessie- Selmon, Lawanda Wilson, Sherika Moore, Valerie ( Karl) Ellis, Wanda ( Brian Sr.) Steele and Pamela ( terrell) Bruce. (3) brothers: Harry ( Margaret) Love, Larry Love and Eless (Luecrecia) Love (1) sister: Norman Brown. He will also be in the hearts of his 63 grandchildren, 79 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
