Morris Lee Watson (affectionately called "Pimp") was born October 26, 1965 in Shelby, MS to the late James Watson, Jr. And Annie Lee Shaffer Watson. Morris "Pimp" accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior while in his youth at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Shelby, MS under the leadership of Rev. Levi Thomas. He later, in his adulthood, joined the House of Prayer in Mound Bayou, MS under the leadership of Pastor Billy Williams. Morris "Pimp" attended Mound Bayou Public Schools. Later, in the early eighties, he became employed with the School District in the Custodial Department. Morris "Pimp" was an all around person that you enjoyed being around when you wanted to laugh or just have fun. He was a good comedian and those memories will always be with us. Morris "Pimp" was united in marriage to Mrs. Ellaweese Preston Shade Watson on May 31, 2009. Morris "Pimp" departed this life on Friday, August 5, 2011 in Mound Bayou, MS after a fatal accident.
