Minnie Bea Thomas Taylor was born on May 17, 1951 in Cleveland, Mississippi to the parents of the late Andrew Thomas Sr. and Annie Lee Woods. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Minnie christian experience began when she repented of her sins and was baptized in Jesus name according to "Act 2:38" at the Old Apostolic Faith Church structure "Ethel Street" under the leadership of the late Bishop Longino Davis. Minnie's education level was very limited with an fifth grade education. She observed the struggle of her father and wanted to assist him in whatever ways that was necessary. By quitting school to work in the cotton fields to help aide her father. There was often times she would work from sunrise to sunset and contributed all her earnings to her father, whom she loved entirely without murmuring and complaining. It gave her great Joy for her to know that she was able to ease her father's burdens, by helping him out financially. When you think of Minnie the word courage comes to mind, she had the ability and willingness to confront fear, pain,or even intimidation. She was a woman of solid faith, whom believe that God could do anything, but fail her. As the twilight approached Minnie showed amazing courage while fighting her illness, which was an inspiration to her family and everyone she came in contact with. In September of 2001, she started experiencing some difficulties with her kidneys, which led her to take dialysis treatment three times a week at Fresentus Treatment here in Cleveland. She was a patient there for thirteen gracious years. Minnie was a devoted house wife, to her childhood sweetheart and husband of forty nine years, the father of all eight of her children. She was taught at an early age the duties of a house wife, to be sober, to love her own husband and children, to become chaste, and a good keeper at home, being obedient to her own husband, that the Word of God wouldn't become blasphemed. She was a small woman in size, but spoke volume when needed to do, our mother was hill of love and had remarkable wisdom, she was our "MIGHTY MINNIE."
