Michael Vernon Brown was born January 21, 1969 in Hollandale, MS to Lloyd and Charlotte Brown.  His mother, Charlotte Brown and his brother, Lloyd Brown, Jr. preceded him in death.

Michael graduated from Glen Allan High School in 1987.  He attended MDCC where he received his Associate Degree.  He furthered his studies and received his Masters Degree at Delta State University.  Michael worked for many years as a social worker in family services.

Everyone enjoyed Michael's great sense of humor.  He loved to fish.  He was a sportsman who loved basketball and baseball.  Michael had a good heart and was a great encourager for those who needed it.  Michael loved his family.  Michael ( Big Mike) was an awesome guy.

He leaves to forever cherish his memories his children, Destiny M. Brown, Precious Joy Dee, and Michael Dee, all of Tulsa, OK; Michael Brown, Jr. of Glen Allan, MS; Kiana (Shay) Head of East St. Louis, IL; Lexis Gibb and Niiya Grant, both of Atlanta, GA; two (2) grandchildren, Giouna Falls and Gabrielle Falls, both of East St. Louis, IL; his loving father, Lloyd Brown, Sr. of Greenville, MS; one (1) brother, Stacy (Tracy) Brown of Greenville, MS; a very special and loving friend, Jackie Richardson of Glen Allan, MS; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
