Mario Bishop was born February 21, 1960 in Pace, Mississippi to Rosie Lee Jones and the late Willie "Bill" Bishop.

Mario departed this life on January 6, 2023, leaving to cherish his memories, his mother, Rosie Lee Pippins; a daughter, Latasha Ross; five brothers, Henry Pippins, Larry Bishop, Freddie Brown, Stanley Douglas and Eddie Bishop who preceded him in death; one sister, Wanda Bishop, a special friend Deloria Seldon and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

A limb has fallen from the family tree that says Grieve not for me, Remember the best times, the laughter, the song, the good life I lived while I was strong.
