Mary Louise Payton was born November 13, 1949 in Cleveland, MS to the late Mr. Richard Payton and Catherine Harper-Tucker.

Mary was educated in the Cleveland School District.

She confessed her life to Christ at an early age.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother; Catherine Harper-Tucker; her father, Richard Payton; her sons, Mark Payton and Anthony Payton and three siblings:  Mary Wallace, Diane Tucker and Richard Payton, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her loving and dedicated memory to her son:  Barron Payton; her daughter, Alberta Burns both of Cleveland, MS; three sisters; Angeline Smith, Vivian Payton and Cuba Tucker all of Cleveland, MS; special cousins she was raised with; Dorothy Latham, Easter Harper, Genie Smith, and Nelson Harper all of Cleveland, MS; 12 granddaughters; Misty, Tierara, Marquita, Alexus, Aniya, Makyla, Ma'Kyia, Jariah, Tyraneka, Tyreona, Antonishiana, and Keyirea; 9 grandsons; Fredrick, Barron, Mark Jr., Barronaldric, Travoris, Anthony Jr., Kavari, Quon and Quantrell; 17 great grandkids; Godsons; Ricky Davis, Derrick (Karrissa) Davis, Cordell Robinson, David Washington and David Bland, Jr.; a special grandson she raised, Fredrick Belvin of Cleveland, MS; special friends Glorial Duvall of Cleveland, MS and Nellie Rose Davis of Memphis, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
