Mary Alice Jackson "Sista" was born September 6, 1970 in Mound Bayou, Mississippi to the late Alice Mae Carter and Richard Nelson Jackson of Boyle, Mississippi. Sista accepted Christ at an early age at Macedonia Baptist Church in Boyle, Mississippi under the leadership of the late Larry Johnson. Her love for God led her to Greater New Kingdom under the leadership of Pastor Rudy Seals. She received her education in the Cleveland School District and furthered her education at Coahoma Community College until 2004 when she began working with the Cleveland School District. She was a faithful and harder worker until her death. Sista was a devoted mother, grandmother and worker as well as dedicated friend to many. She held close relationships with her sisters-in-law, Lady Hampton, Linda Harris Jackson, and Linda Mae Nelson Farris.
