Mary Burnette Phillips was born January 20, 1963 in Shaw, MS to the union of the late T.C. and Virtis Phillips. Mary accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. W. E. Tinson and was a faithful member until her death under the leadership of Rev. Herron Wilson. Mary was employed at Wild Bills, later known as Zip Trip. Mary was a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt and grandmother who loved her family beyond measures.
