Mary Ann Jones was born December 10, 1969 to L.V. Jones and Jennie M. Norphlet in Oxford, MS.

She attended Oxford High School.  She belonged to Clear Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Oxford, MS now under the leadership of Rev. Eddie D. Goliday, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her father L.V. Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Jerry Williams, Jr. of Holly Springs, MS; mother, Jennie Higginbottom of Batesville; brothers, Roy Lee Higginbottom of Memphis, TN and James Jones of Oxford, MS; sister, Mary Lee Higginbottom of Memphis, TN; and aunt, Annie M. Robinson of Oxford.
