Martin Luther Harris was born January 18, 1966 to the late Perry Harris, Sr and Rebecca Harris.
Martin received his education at Merigold Elementary School, Merigold, MS and Cleveland High School, Cleveland, MS. He had a natural love of life. Martin loved his family and the many friends he came to know. He loved cooking from an early age and loved cooking at any and all functions or gatherings. He loved showing off his culinary skills whether in the kitchen but especially on the grill and a master griller he was. Later on in life Martin decided on a change and moved to Orange, TX where he remained until his untimely death.
On Tuesday, September 22, 2020 God saw it fit to end his suffering and called him home. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Lee Harris and Perry "Billy: Harris, Jr. and one sister, Dollie Harris.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three sisters, Cleather Briggs Norvell of Mound Bayou, MS, Kathryn Harris of Cleveland, MS and Carlee Harris of Orange, Tx. One brother, Johnny Harris of Orange, TX. His children, Ashley Honorable King (Willie) of Nashville, TN, Edneishia Johnson of Beaumont, Tx, and Amber Langston of Cleveland, MS. Four sons; Troy Harris of Port Author, TX, Elijah Wallace of Orange, TX, Markevon Harris of Orange, TX and James Britton of Madison, WI and ten grandchildren. One special aunt, Modesta "Wilma" Flore of Rosedale, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
