Marquittia L. McCoy was born in Cleveland, MS to Brenda McCoy and Calvin (Ray) Peavey on May 2, 1984. She confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of Bishop Roderick Mitchell. She later became a member of Phillip Chapel under the leadership of Rev. Marvin Strotter, Sr. Marquittia attended Eastside High School and Mississippi Valley State University. Marquittia's life of sharing, caring, and helping ended on March 2, 2013. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
