Marques K. Simpson was born December 23, 1978 in Joliet, Illinois to L.T. Simpson and Ollie(Aaron) Bell. His family later moved to Greenville, MS where he grew up with lots of cousins, aunts and uncles. As an adult, Marques relocated to Atlanta, GA where he would continue with furthering his education by attending college. While there, he met friends who would go on to become family in which he loved dearly. During his time in Atlanta, Marques would learn many trades and truly began to embrace his love for music and gathered some experience with acting. His next chapter entailed a move to Fayetteville, AR where he would meet the love of his life.
Marques enjoyed his job with Clorox. He loved being outdoors and went to the gym on a regular basis. He and Hope often spent time together walking, running or biking the beautiful trails of NW Arkansas as well as hosting family dinner. Marques had an unique love for Anime and was passionate about his Georgia Bulldogs & Golden State Warriors.
He is survived by his significant other, Hope Watson of Fayetteville, AR; his parents, Ollie (Aaron) Bell of Greenville, MS and L.T. Simpson of Joliet, IL; sister, Tamekia Lockridge of Springdale, AR; brother, Marcella Aaron of Highfill, AR; nieces, Makayla Phininisee, Tanisha Lockridge, Destiny Simpson; nephews, Ross Lockridge, Joshua Simpson; 1 great niece; 3 great nephews, aunt, uncles and a host of cousins.
