Obituary

A time to be born....Mama was born August 19, 1936 to the late Annie and George Williams in Tupelo, MS. A time to accept Christ....Mama accepted Christ as her personal savior at a very early age under the leadership of Rev. Fred B. Black. She joined Mt. Zion M.B. Church later in life where she served as a Mother of the church. Mama made sure she introduced all of her children, grandchildren and anybody who will listen, to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A time for love.....Mama enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was mama to her own children and all of her grandchildren. Mama exhibited God's love in her daily life. In her younger days, Mama enoyed quilting, fishing, gardening, cooking and loving her family. Later in life, Mama enjoyed praising the Lord, spending time with her children and grandchildren, working puzzles and talking on the telephone to friends, family and neighbors. A time for rest....Mama answered the Master's call at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at her home.
