Margaret was born September 2, 1949 in Cleveland, Mississippi to the late Onitta Lewis Evans and Fred Walker.
Margaret gave her life to Christ at an early age at the New Bethel M.B. Church in Cleveland, Mississippi. She later moved her membership to the New St. Phillips Church under the leadership of the late Reverend J.D. Story.
Margaret received her education at Eastside High School in Cleveland, Mississippi. She was employed at the Cleveland Nursing Center as a CNA in her early years. She also gave Delta Pride 10 years, where she was a dedicated worker. Later, she was employed at Delta Sate University where she retired.
