Mamie Lee Latham was born on May 15, 1968 in Cleveland, MS. to the late Curtis and Lizzie Latham. She was the sixth child out of eight children. Mamie Lee Latham departed this life on September 21, 2013 at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS. Mamie's Christian experience began when she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She attended East Side High School, graduated in 1986. Mamie was a very hard worker, who worked laboriously for many years at the Comfort Inn Hotel. She had a special love for her children and grandchildren. There was nothing big or small she wouldn't do for her family. Mamie had a great sense of humor which led her to joking around with her sibling, which bought her great joy. Mamie was considered very blessed to have had a second loving mom, Dorothy Latham who loved and raised her as one of her own. As the twilight approached, Mamie showed such amazing courage while fighting her illness, which was an inspiration to her family and those around her.
