Mrs. Mamie B. Caldwell was born to the late John Harris and Beatrice Harris in Doddsville, MS.

Mamie B. Caldwell accepted Christ at an early age as her Lord and Savior at I John M.B. Church, Doddsville, MS. She received an education and worked as a sharecropper.

She was preceded in death by a husband: Cornelius Caldwell; one son: Albert Caldwell; two daughters: Sandra Denise Caldwell and Mary Lee Caldwell; one sister: Roberta Pittman; nine brothers: Leon Harris, Sammie Lee Harris, Jimmy Lee Harris, Robert Lee Harris, Johnny Earl Harris, James Lee Harris, George Harris, Charlie Harris; one grandchild: Charleston Harris.

She is survived by seven children: three girls: Bobbie Jean Harris, Viola Boyd (RL), Mamie Caldwell-Jones (Thomas), Arecie Caldwell all of Ruleville, MS. Three boys: Connie Caldwell, John Henry Caldwell of Nashville, TN. One sister: Rosie Lee Hall of Ruleville, MS. Two sisters-in-law: Daisy Caldwell and Willie Harris. Special Niece: Shirley Gibson-Jones and two special friends: Mrs. Cora Clemons and Ms. Minnie Mae Brown. A host of nieces. nephews, cousins, and friends.
