Mrs. Maggie Joiner-Rogers was born December 28, 1958 in Doddsville, MS to the parents of the late David Joiner, Sr., and Bessie Joiner.  While still a child, Maggie accepted Jesus as her savior and was baptized by the late C. L. Flemmings and fellowshipped into the Gilfield M.B. Church, Doddsville, MS.

Maggie was educated at Ruleville Central High School, Ruleville, MS and graduated in the Class of 1977.  She pursued a career in Food Service.  She enjoyed her family outings, and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Anthony (Tony) Williams, Jr., two brothers, Oscar and Horace Joiner.

Maggie leaves many to cherish her memories:  husband, Clyde Rogers, Ruleville, MS; three children:  Sheniece Syas, Chicago, IL; Gabriel (Tahara) Williams, Mansfield, TX; and Derek Williams, Memphis, TN; eight siblings:  David (Daisy) Joiner, Jr., Indianola, MS; Louise Joiner, Jackson, MS; Everlena (Rick) Trummell, Davenport, IA; Maurice (Heather) Holloway, Freeport, IL; Dorothy (Rick) Watters, Chicago, IL; Corine Johnson, Indianola, MS; Debra Newman and Oscar Newman, both of Haines, FL; five grandchildren:  Makayla, Bobby, Maddison, Mariah and Josiah; a special niece:  Natasha Joiner, Jackson, MS; a special cousin:  Ruby Brooks of Greenville, MS.

Maggie will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
