Mack Foster Sr. was born on April 27, 1952 in Beulah, Mississippi to the late Vannie B. Foster & the late Willie Lloyd. On May 22, 2026, at the age of 74, he transitioned to be with the Lord.
From an early age, Mack placed his trust in Christ and confessed his faith at Mt. Mariah M.B. Church while later on in life he joined Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. James Walker Sr.
Mack was a man who dedicated his life to God, his family and most of all his community. He never met a stranger, he was a man with a heart of gold, would help anyone and was a Mr. Fix-It.
Mack was a dedicated worker at AMPCO in Rosedale, MS until the company closed down. He also was a newspaper carrier for Delta Democrat Times for over 12 years. He was employed with MDOT for 22 years until the time of his death. Mack was also the president of the Beulah Men's Club, where he continued his dedication to serving and uplifting his community.
Mack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend.
He was married to the late Deborah Foster and to that union, 2 sons were born: Marerllis Nix and Mack Foster, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vannie B. Foster, his father, Willie Lloyd, his wife, Deborah Foster, his brothers, Kenneth & Marvin Foster, his sisters, Gennette Foster & Linda Foster-Holloway.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memories: 5 sons, Mack (Betty) Warren of Jacksonville, FL, Marerllis Nix of Fort Worth, TX, Mack (Bryanna) Foster of San Diego, CA, Tovoris (Alicia) Drummer of El Paso, TX & Maurice(Ecko) Drummer of Beulah, MS; 2 daughters, Lorinda ( Leonard) Maniece of Chicago, IL & Latanya (Tracy) Jackson of Chicago, IL; 4 brothers; Larry (Gillian) Foster, Oscar (Tamara) Foster, Tony (Angela) Foster & Mack (Stephanie) Johnson; 3 sisters, Diann Foster, Pearlene Tucker & Gloria (Ronnie) Foster; 2 brother-in laws, Kevin Holloway and Ronnie Hill; 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
