The Angel of death has visited us once again in the demise of our love one. A great loss has been suffered in the homegoing of Mrs. Lucy Marie Lewis Shelly, for those who knew her. Mrs. Shelly career started at an early age at Bolivar Community Action in the 1960's as a social worker. She worked their for 21 years. Then her career started as a Certified Nurse Assistance at Continue Care Home Health for 8 years, Bolivar Medical Center for 4 years, Delta Community Home Health for 9 years and Genesis Hospice for 10 years. She stayed their until her health failed. She loved her patients and clients. The joy of her life was being able to make a difference in someone else's life. Mrs. L.M. Shelly was called to eternal rest on February 2, 2011 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Lucy M.Lewis Shelly was born November 24, 1939 in Beulah, MS to the late Willie and Lucinda Lewis. She confessed Christ in 1953 under the leadership of Rev. W.B. Brown at Mt. Moriah M.B. Church. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Ocie Shelly and to this union, she was blessed with seven children.
