Obituary

The sunrise of life rose on Lillie Pearl McLemore on October 20, 1925. She was the second child of eleven born in Macon, MS to the late Mose Stewart, Sr. and Eva Jane Blair Stewart. She accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Spring Valley Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C.L. Clark. She later united with the Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Schlater, MS. Ten years ago, she joined New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church under the leadership of Rev. M.C. Jordan where she served as a Stewardess until her health failed and remained faithful to GOD and to the church until her departure. She attended elementary school in Cruger, Mississippi, and completed her secondary education from Stone Street High School in Greenwood, Mississippi in the mid 1940's. She was an excellent cook and gifted seamstress. She was united in holy matrimony to Louis Robinson, Sr. in 1943. She was a devoted wife until his death in 1951. This union was blessed with two children. In addition, she married Jessie McLemore in 1956. This union was blessed with three children. She remained a devoted wife until his death in March 20, 1984. She departed this life at 10:13 a.m. on November 7, 2011, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS.
