Obituary

Levoris Abe Morris, Sr., affectionately known as "Bundy" was born August 15, 1982 in Cleveland, Mississippi to the late Willie Lee Morris and Dorothy Morris.  He was the third oldest of five children.

Levoris Morris attended Cleveland High School where he was a percusionist in the Cleveland High School Band.  Levoris was also quite the athlete and had a passion for baseball ( it runs in the family).  Levoris graduated in 2001 from Cleveland High School and is still loved by many of his classmates and band members.  He always had a carefree personality, he was quite the jokester, and not a stranger to anyone.  He wore a big smile always!

Levoris Morris was well known as a carpenter following in the footsteps of his uncle L.M. Birge.  He could literally turn dreams into reality and if he saw it he could make it.  His hands were truly blessed.  Additionally, he was widely known for his musical abilities.  Levoris started playing drums at just 18 months old at his grandmother's home.  As he grew older, he perfected his gift playing for his father at a number of churches.  Later in life he became a profound musical prodigy and songwriter.  He shared his gift with many surrounding areas including Arkansas, Louisiana, and Tennessee.  He was always very serious when he ministered music.  He wanted to give God his best.  He played under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and he recently rededicated his life to Christ.

"Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it".  Levoris as a child was trained up in the way of the Lord, by his parents and grandparents. He was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ at Pace Miracle Deliverance Church.  He was also apart of the Morris Project Quartet Group, which originated with his family.  Additionally, he was apart of three other quartet groups including, The Spiritual Highlights, Diane & the Spiritual Angels, and The Parker Family.

Levoris had several occupations including manufacturing and working for the City of Cleveland.  Levoris was also the CEO of his own carpentry business called L & C Morris where he worked along side his brother Christen Morris.  Together they have touched many lives through this business.

Levoris Morris married Melissa Carr in the year of 2004 and to this union one child was born, Levoris Morris, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, several aunts, and several uncles whom he loved very much.  He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife of many years, Melissa Morris, his son, Levoris Morris, Jr; his loving mother, Dorothy Morris; three brothers, Aderian (Kimberly) Birge, Demaris (Kandique) Birge and Christen Morris; one sister, Shebronda (Gerrod) Redmond; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
