Lee Verdict "TeddyBear" Neal was the second born child to Ms. Pearly M. Neal and the late Virtis Griffin in Cleveland, MS on July 09, 1961.  Lee later relocated to St. Louis, MO along with his mother and sister there he was raised by the late Herbert Brown until adulthood.  Lee also resided in Chicago, IL for several years.  Lee later journeyed back to his hometown Cleveland, MS where he remained until his demise.

Lee attended St. Louis Elementary School and he graduated from Halter High School in St. Louis, MO in 1979.  He was employed with Simmons and Belts in Cleveland, MS.

Lee was preceded in death by his father's Virtis Griffin and Herbert Brown; his grandmother, Alberta Neal; grandfather, Willie Turner Neal.  His four aunts:  Maggie Neal-Banks, Maryann Neal-Burns, Bessie Neal-Martin, Lillie Mae Neal and Lois Helen Neal.

Lee will always be known for his fly fashion style.  He would often say "I'm coordinated all the way down to my socks!"  He then took it up a notch saying "I'm triple coordinated!"  Lee had so many funny sayings like "what's the word," "no fass courting," and " ain't no way in the world" to name a few.  Lee was loved by so many people in the community and some of those people were from the doctors offices of The Family Medical Clinic, Tibbs Pediatric Clinic and Haire Drug Store where he often did odd jobs when they needed him.  He also did yard work and helped in the elderly load groceries into their cars.

Lee leaves to cherish his memories: his dear and loving mother, Pearly Mae Neal of Cleveland, MS; One dedicated sister Missionary Patricia A. Neal; two daughters, Tracey Minton-Kimble (Larry) of Sunflower, MS; RacDonna Clark-Rich (James) of Memphis, TN.  Five grandchildren:  Miguel Clark of Lima, Ohio; Terriyauna Clark of Houston, TX; Quintavious Clark of Memphis, TN; Michael Williams of Sunflower, MS and Kerriana Brown of Greenville, MS. One nephew; Antonio Neal; One niece, Alicia Neal; Two great nieces:  Tichina Terrell and Valencya Jones; One great-great niece:  Kirsten Terrell; One great-great nephew:  Rashaad Brooks.  Four great-great grandchildren:  Zehmir and Kyaire of Lima, OH; Katherine and Launa of Houston, TX.  A host of cousins, extended family and friends.  Lee also had a special bond with the late Mary "Snookie-Baby" Payton as a mother figure in his life and one cousin fond of him, Alberta Burns.
